Community Connect- https://www.ashevillenc.gov/service/sign-up-for-community-connect/ is a place where you can register your home with AFD so they are aware of anything that may help them in the case of an emergency. You can input things like ADA requirements, utility cutoff locations, pets, etc. This is a great thing do to if you have any special needs during an emergency event inside the building.

AVL Alert- https://www.ashevillenc.gov/service/sign-up-for-avl-alert/ is a good resource as well. The City sends alerts when there are water, power, protest, crime events happening in your area. The alerts are sent directly to your phone so you have the most up to date information.
